Guido Reni (Bologna 1575-1642), Apollo e Marsia, oil on canvas, 230 cm x 172 cm (90.55 in x 67.7 in), from the collection of G. Baratti, Milan.  Around 1655,  this stunning work belonged to the most famous art collection in Spain at the time, that of Don Diego Mesia y Guzman, Marquis of Leganes.  Recently restored in Florence, the painting costs 3.5m euros.  Please click on the image for more information.
