Old Masters International is a counter-cultural magazine of connoisseurship written and edited in Milan and in Washington DC. Our focus is "the Rare and the Excellent” in art and aesthetics, wit and reason, manners and morals, voyage and exploration. Our founder is a former contributor of geopolitical reporting and op-eds to the Wall Street Journal Europe and the advisor to a princely art collecting family in Vienna; our editorial advisor was editor-in-chief of what was once Italy's most world-famous art magazine.
The most interesting people today are the high-minded Reactionaries; those who fight for the aristocracy of art and the distinctions of merit --for the cancellation of soi-disant 'cancel culture', if you will. Thus, our founding motto: “Old Masters are the New Modern”. Our primary editorial interest is that which has earned and will continue to earn the veneration of centuries.
