Old Masters International is the most beautiful magazine in the world written for the most intelligent people in the world It is a counter-cultural magazine of connoisseurship written and edited in Milan. The anarchical spirit that is the driving force behind our founding is one of cheerful revulsion towards the ignorance and irrationality that dominates our contemporary cultural discourse. In this sense we are anti-status quo, anti-bourgeois and anti-“average voter” given that the spiritual-intellectual collapse and cowardice making up such classes on both the left and right are responsible for the acceleration of decline in Western aesthetic values.
The most interesting people today are the so-called reactionaries; those who fight for the aristocracy of art and the distinctions of merit. Thus, our founding motto: “Old Masters are the New Modern”. It is this art that is always new because it is timeless; that is always 'relevant" because it remains the standard; that is always provocative because it never ceases to amaze and, above all, that is universally beautiful because its technical and emotional superiority form a category of art that reigns supreme. Our focus is simple. “The Rare and the Excellent” in art, aesthetics, literature, philosophy, voyage and exploration comprise that which we wish to present on these pages, chosen according to creative originality, emotional force, wit and charm, and the veneration of centuries. Each issue is intended to be a pleasure for the senses, a compliment to the intelligence and a regeneration of the spirit, as we persist in the conviction that “Beauty will save the world”.
